Terms of service
Effective 9 October 2026. These terms cover https://velasocial.app and the Vela Social application at https://app.velasocial.app, operated by VELA SOLUTIONS LTD.
The service
Vela Social is a workspace for understanding performance, planning content, and managing social channels. The current release reads account information and public videos that a person authorises. It does not upload videos and it does not publish them.
A feature that is not switched on is not part of the service you can rely on.
Accounts
A person creates a workspace and a brand. Access follows the role on that workspace. You are responsible for the activity under your account.
Connected accounts
You may connect only accounts you are allowed to use. YouTube, TikTok, and any other connected platform keep their own rules. Connecting a channel authorises Vela to read what that platform returns for the granted access. It does not authorise Vela to post.
Your content
You keep ownership of your content. You give Vela a limited permission to host and process that content so the workspace can operate. That permission ends when the content or the account is deleted, apart from copies kept for the retention periods in the privacy notice.
AI-assisted output and approval
AI output is assistance. A person reviews consequential publishing through the approval action. Chat text is not an approval.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for spam, for posting you are not allowed to make, or to reach another customer's workspace.
Availability
We do not promise uninterrupted service. We may suspend access that abuses the service, attempts to cross a workspace boundary, or uses a connected account without permission.
Billing
If a paid plan is offered, purchase, renewal, cancellation, and receipts are handled by the billing provider. Vela stores the entitlement, not the card number. Cancelling a subscription does not by itself delete the workspace. The browser cannot choose the price, currency, or entitlement.
Privacy
The privacy notice explains what personal data the service stores.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the laws of England and Wales do not allow us to limit, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
We are not liable for a connected platform changing, refusing, or delaying its own API. We do not promise a particular audience, view count, or commercial result.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales decide disputes about them.
